I wrote this song for my wife. I had songs that were influenced by her over the years, but she always wanted one to 'call her own'. I kept the lyrics simple, and meaningful. Through many years, and plenty of ups and downs, I knew I could count on her whether I would lose or win, and that in turn she could count on me to do the same.
